Once a customer selects a design as the winner, the project will move into the Design Handover phase. The design handover page exists to make final tweaking a smooth process and enable the exchange of the design files and customer approval of the uploaded files.
In this phase the customer and the designer are given access to a shared page to work in a one-on-one scenario and will have 7 days to complete the project. The customer can request a reasonable number of minor updates and revisions to the winning design, and download the source files.
Once a customer is happy with the files they have received and considers the project complete, the customer must approve files to successfully conclude the project. If files are not approved by the end of this 7-day period, the customer will receive an e-mail reminder to approve the files and complete the project. If the customer is still working on the project with the designer, please advise our support team. Should we not hear back from customers after the e-mail reminder then we may approve the files on their behalf.
It is the customer’s responsibility to approve the files at the end of the project. Out of courtesy to your chosen designer, please do not delay this process.
The Handover also includes the ability to commence work on follow-up projects or new design work exclusively with the winning designer.
