Can I share submissions with other participating designers?

Modified on Thu, 19 Sep, 2019 at 11:04 PM

Any concept presented in the original design brief can be worked on / developed by all participating designers. However, designs created by a specific designer must be respected and only developed further by the designer that introduced them.

This means that designer's submissions can not be shared with other designers through any means, as this creates a design dispute because the rights of designs that have not been purchased by the client remain the property of the submitting designer. (see: Who owns the designs? )

Should an issue arise, the original submitting designer must also be compensated through the purchase of their design on the platform, the terms of which can be negotiated between the client, the designer, and DesignCrowd acting as a mediator. Failure to compensate the original submitting designer will result in the transfer of ownership being void and the customer not owning the selected design.

Any designers who willingly modify another designer's submission without the latter designer's consent (or the purchase of the client) may face sanctions.
