When uploading designs, I receive an 'Out of Memory' error. What should I do?

The Out of memory error can be received for a number of reasons, so it is important that you perform the following checks to try and diagnose the root cause:

1. JPG size is too large: This is one of the most common causes of this problem. As you try and upload your file, we are producing a thumbnail version of it on the fly and if the file you are uploading is too large, the server will often throw an error. Our recommendation is to review the size of your JPG and try reducing the size of it to ensure the system can easily generate a thumbnail.We recommend reducing the size of your JPG below 2 Mb and the resolution does not need to be above 1024 pixels in width (the jpg image is only used to preview your design on the site).
2. Source files are too large: If you find your source files (AI, EPS, PSD) are very large (each file is above 30 Mb) then this could be an issue. Our recommendation is that firstly you should try to compress the images by adding them to a ZIP file and uploading this instead. In addition, you can perform a number of steps to reduce the size of the individual vector files (a simple Google search will show you how to reduce the file size of a vector without dramatically reducing the quality).In either case we recommend you upload source files under 30 Mb.
3. Browser and JavaScript Issues: Our upload controls require the latest browser updates to ensure they work correctly. A number of users have resolved this issue by upgrading their browser to the latest version. For best results, we recommend the latest desktop versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
